Critical Research - The Fringe Division

In light of the later understanding, the cohort's structure includes a distinct research group, named a "fringe division", which directs research efforts towards the exploration of an emerged anomalous phenomenon in the research field. The cohort's structure is designed to assist dealing with an existing “threat” embedded in human nature, avoiding uncertainty by setting a world view one level above reality.

The fringe division sector’s duty is to observe and challenge the cohort consensus. This motion will embed critics into the cohort structure and enable theoretical and philosophical oppositions inside the cohort, helping to detect and prevent a buildup of group consensus that will be based on other than well justified scientific arguments. The "fringe division" will interrogate every development of the Knowledge Evolution Cycle and critically revise the methodological choices made in every step along the way by conducting research in order to refute the existing cohort paradigms.
