Abstract

The following paper is a proposal for a new Practical approach to the Academic knowledge development of a framework for an academic research. I review the background of knowledge development over the centuries and the history of methodological expansion. I propose a new integrative framework of practical empiric knowledge improving the ability to approach uncovered areas in today’s research in both fields of research. The proposed framework suggests combining a cohort (groups) of researchers, from both schools of knowledge. Practical doctoral students together with Ph.D. students whose roles and responsibilities will be to study a given field from both empirical and practical perspectives. This new approach could lead to improvement in research and the academic world, as well as in industry and the economy. Furthermore, they would recognize their research as being continuously subject to improvement of the paradigms and ideas within it as the polemic debates between practitioners and philosophers eventually fuse into new combined framework of knowledge construction.
